WTF was he doing going there bringing a gun and trying to stir up trouble? He had no business doing this in the first place. He was lucky he had an almost all white jury, otherwise he'd be doing hard time right now.

Maybe you can tell that to the vaxxed and boosted people who have Delta, or a more severe case of Omicron.

COVID has a lot going for it, as far as viruses go: Unlike Ebola and SARS, it can be spread by people who don’t realize they have it. Unlike smallpox, it can jump species, infecting animals and then potentially reinfecting us. Unlike polio, one person can unwittingly spread it to a room full of people, and not enough people are willing to get vaccinated at once to stop it in its tracks. It’s less contagious than swine flu, and less deadly than Ebola, landing it in a sort of perverse sweet spot where it infects a lot of people but doesn’t kill enough of them to run out of victims. For many people, it’s mild enough that it convinces others they don’t have to take the disease or precautions against it seriously.

Will this pandemic ever end? Here’s what happened with the last ones:

Do you have compassion for any of the healthy young people ages 12-35 who were vaccine injured when they would have done better if they got Covid (serious vaccine injuries are rare but life threatening Covid is even rarer for this age group) The leftists should be the last one to talk about compassion as the way they carried out the lockdowns and how both the elite class and thug class were exempt were a crime against humanity.

BTW: Why aren't any of Newsom's kids vaccinated? He knows the vaccine is beneficial for him and his wife but the risks outweigh the benefits for his kids. Why can't the masses have the right to make the same decisions as our elite politicians?
wow.. that's some serious "whataboutism"

Can you produce the number of people who are vaxxed and boosted that are in the Hospital with Omicron?

LOL. And the last we heard about vaccinations in regard to Newsom's kids was in October, when the oldest had just turned 12 and vaccinations were not yet approved for children ages 5-11. From one of these threads: "The Governor's daughter only recently turned 12 and has an appointment to be vaccinated," Erin Mellon, a spokesperson for Newsom's office, said.

Wait, so it is your belief the melanin content of the jurors skin is what led to the not guilty verdict rather than the lack of evidence to prove beyond a reasonable doubt verdict? I was surprised charges were ever filed in the first place seeing the evidence that was presented throughout this trial.

Who said he was stirring up trouble? There was no evidence of that whatsoever. He was there helping to protect a dealership and was cleaning graffiti prior. Should he have been there? Probably not, but neither should have those who he shot and killed.

Are you under the impression kids or parents are being charged for masks that the schools give out? Because they're not...

What's unrealistic though is the time frame some people expect this to happen within. We're barely a year into having vaccines available and the world is a much more global place than it ever has been. We're trying to contain something that has a million different avenues to spread and people are counting the months to achieve victory??? Sorry. Let's try maybe a decade or so. But it will happen.

Meanwhile, the potency seems to be diminishing with this variant which is an indicator that its behavior is consistent with other viruses. We have a lot to be thankful for here so I don't get all the doom and gloom teeth gnashing going on.

We have wiped out viruses like smallpox totally and measles and polio mostly (not 100 percent like Smallpox) because those are stable viruses that don't mutate or exist in animal reservoirs. Covid, like the flu and the cold, will always mutate and is widespread in animal reservoirs throughout the world. It will be around for decades, if not centuries to come, and definitely for the rest of our lives. We just have to learn to live with the risk and make decisions for ourselves.

Actually you said Asian countries locked down in the past then I showed they didn’t. And they stayed open despite having much lower vaccination rates at the time. And I was actually referring to when vaccines weren’t even widely available. But of course you think know what’s best for society and everyone needs to follow it. It’s not actually about “caring” about other people at all.

Also that booster you took is one less shot for a poor and middle income country that will only keep the pandemic and variants going. So much for “caring about others”
Couldn’t rep you again!
