One way California can save greatly on educational funding. Refuse to fund school districts that start school or classes before September 1 or Labor Day. It had been proven that starting early costs districts a lot of money and moving the start date back saved a lot of funding.

I am not so certain to say about the gas tax. As if they don’t charge such tax they will find even more sinister and dishonest ways to extract the funding from people.

On the flip side certain states like Arizona seems to have severely undervalued gasoline prices. Even compared with developing countries. Ie those in central and South America and places like Vietnam. Where Gas prices average about $2.90 USD a gallon. In Arizona prices average $2.40 a gallon compared in California it’s averages $3.50 a gallon based on GasBuddy. Though for most Latin American countries their average falls just in between these two figures.

Just a guess on my part, expat ... I think he's pointing out that it's accessible for YOU to look up yourself. More than a couple of regular posters here have wondered at the way you ask easily self-answered questions without bothering to get the answers on your own. Just a thought ...

it's not the gas tax, it's the illegal alien tax / sanctuary trust fund.

The gas tax should keep up with inflation, at least.
