Hello,

I'm looking to relocate from Boise ,Idaho to somewhere in California and I need help looking for the perfect city.
Basically I am looking for a beach community that is away from any large city. I'm trying to stay away from the trash, you know the gangs and white trash , or illegal Mexicans, and bums. Does this place exist? This city/town must be in Southern California since the weather is very important to me. I am not concerned with finding a job since i am self employed. I'm not a millionaire either but I would be willing to spend a little more for some place like I described. Please somebody help me find this city/town.

Ha!

Yep, every Mexican in Rosarito is 100% legal.

If you're not in the upper-middle income bracket, you will not find a beach community that meets all of your criteria, at least not in southern California. It's important to understand that beach locales in desirable climates always attract the lowest common denominator of human beings. That's because these are 'easy' locations to live in, so naturally these locations will attract people who take the easiest paths in life. Poverty, drugs, crime, high unemployment... all of these things are part of the package when choosing to live in a desirable beach community.

However, if you do fall into the upper-middle income bracket, you might want to take a look at places like La Jolla, or Laguna Beach. Both places offer high quality living with little to no riff-raff.

San Luis Obispo About 30 minutes inland from the beaches (Morro Bay, Pismo Beach, Avila Beach and Cayucos). Being inland a bit avoids the wind and fog that is common along the coast and gives you warmer weather.

I read a little about San Luis Obispo and I like what I see. Are there a lot of bums and Mexicans there? And how does the weather compare to La Jolla?
