My daughter and a couple friends are going to Universal Studios for their Halloween event. It ends really late so they want to stay in a hotel that night and then drive home in the morning.

Can someone recommend a decent hotel within 10 min or so of Universal Studios, that isn't too expensive (about $100 or so would be great). Safety is our number one criteria.

Thanks in advance

I know right at Universal City Walk there are two hotels, I think. There's definitely a Sheraton, and one other right next door, I believe. That would be the best bet, as they are literally right there at Universal Studios. Both are quite nice, or were the last time I was in them.

Thanks for the ideas, but those hotels are quite a bit too expensive. These are college kids! The rooms are over $200 per night. They'll be at the Universal Halloween thing until 2am, so they'll get to the room, go to sleep, wake up and leave. They don't need such a fancy place. Just somewhere safe to sleep Any other, less expensive ideas?

Safari Inn in Burbank. It even has free parking.

Also check out the Holiday Inn Express. Maybe around $100 per night.
