Im moving to SoCal and dont know much about it. I was thinkin the LA area or San Diego. Im a 22yr old single male looking for a nice area to rent a house with a good nightlife scene. Wouldnt be such a bad thing to be able to take a short drive to the beach either. Any ideas?

Why are you moving to a place you don't know much about?

What line of work are you in?
Where is your job?
What is your housing budget?

Why are you moving to SoCal without knowing much about it? This sounds like a lame idea.

Daniel, SoCal covers a very large region. Any part along the coast could fit your description. Why not fly out and see it for yourself. That will give you a better idea. Most young ppl like the coastal regions. Start with LA County (Santa Monica, Hermosa, Manhattan Beaches), then check out OC (Huntington Beach) then San Diego. And there is a lot in between there.

I am like Daniel. I am a young adult who may be moving to NorCal. If he doesn't know a ton about it, maybe hes just moving with his mom or dad and is just going along.. little time to investigate fully. Same with me.

I am moving to NorCal from South FL soon with my mom.. a long story behind it, but I am also curious where to go. I am aiming at Sacramento as the place I'd do decent in. Are there any others in NorCal?

If anyone knows anything, compare to South FL.. thanks.
