That, by itself, does not mean the measures were going to be rescinded without political pushback.
Yes, it is a stupid question, in response to another stupid question: "when did they say it would be temporary?!" They're both really stupid questions if you aren't a paranoid lunatic because the obvious assumption is that emergency measures put in place to fight a pandemic (one we know will eventually end) are by definition, temporary.

Still waiting to hear your explanation as to how this is a coordinated global conspiracy. I don't blame you for dodging the question though. I'd be pretty embarrassed trying to explain that stance too.

They're temporary, and in the case of this particular pandemic, the endpoint is decided when enough political pushback develops. We are now arriving at that point.

Yeah amazing how we went from 03/2020-02/2022 without any pushback whatsoever.

In Massachusetts, especially Boston, you didn't have appreciable pushback. That's why you ended up having to show medical papers to sit in a Wendy's.

But in the rest of the country, we did. And now Boston, Minneapolis, et al., are catching up.

How Temporary were they meant to be? Temporary enough to effectively coerce vaccination which cant be undone? The original decree does not fully go into effect until May 1 when everyone 5 and older needs to show papers for being fully vaxxed. So, clearly was meant to last at least through summer or longer. Ending it before then is just a smart political move to correct a stupid political decision.

Yes. I think people across the political spectrum are DONE and ready for a return to normal. Politicians who continue beating the drum for restrictions will not fare well.

You're welcome. The snark and sarcasm is a sign that the job is almost done.
