Ah, yes, Einstein.
Watchers. One of my favorite books.
Amazon.com: Watchers eBook: Dean Koontz: Books
Koontz is a great lover of all things Golden and several of his books feature wonderful dogs. That's the first thing I look for when I pick up a Koontz book. Is there a dog in the book?
Another great Retriever book is
Merle's Door: Lessons from a Freethinking Dog. It has some dragging bits when the author writes a little too much about dog genetics, etc, but oh, my, he loves his dog, and the end will make you weep.
