Traffic from Caldwell to Meridian?? (living in, move to, estimates)

We will be new to the entire area. Hubby is being pursued by an employer in Caldwell, but we are primarily looking to move to Meridian.

According to Google maps, it *should* be a 25 minute commute. Is that accurate or wishful thinking?

What is rush hour typically like on the 20/26 and on the 30/85/54 (not sure what to call it!)??

You'll be going in the opposite direction of most people, so I don't think traffic will be a problem. In my experience you can generally beat Google estimates, barring traffic issues.

So I'd say it's probably accurate depending on where exactly you're thinking of living in Meridian. You might actually have a little faster commute if you lived nearer the freeway close to Ten Mile. I don't commute that way or live out that far so I don't know for sure, but it might be something to check out.
