Is Bend more of a retiree area or is it a younger place too?? If not Bend any other areas that you would like to suggest for a newly-married couple that wants some of nature's beauty and possibilty to work for a law firm???

Thank you so much!!!

We visited Bend in April, and fell in love with the area. There seemed to be a good spread of ages there, and people were very friendly. There isn't a huge party nightlife there, but we're not looking for that. We liked that folks were happy to say hello and smiled at us on the street, and that we felt like it would be an easy place to make friends.

We're strongly considering making a move to Bend - we're older than you, with two kids, but think it would be a great place to live and raise a family.

Thank you very much kosmo. We don't want the party nightlife either. We just want a beautiful place with lots to do outside and friendly people to meet. Bend sounds wonderful. When are you thinking about moving there??

As soon as we can sell our house! We'd love to be up there by September.
