The Grizzlies are a really baffling team. A month ago I was picking them to win it all, but they're so inconsistent I don't consider them favorites. They certainly have the potential to go deep in the playoffs, but it's also highly plausible they'll fizzle out in the first round.

But don't count out Memphis!
I don't take Memphis seriously and I am confident they will lose to the Clippers tonight at the Staple Center.

Memphis loses tonight to the Clippers which means the Spurs will probably be the #2 seed by wednesday night. And that's because Memphis has to play Golden State tomorrow night while the Spurs last two games are against the Suns at home and the Pelicans on the road. So it looks like the spurs final record will be 56-26 and the Grizzlies will finish 54-28 dropping to the 5 or 6 seed to face the Clippers or Blazers in round one. The Mavs are not match for the spurs and will likely lose the series 4-1 giving San Antonio some needed rest before they face the Clippers or Rockets in round two.

Westbrook got a T, that's 16. That means he's suspended from tomorrow's game in Portland. He all but sealed the deal locking the thunder out of the playoffs.

They don't need to be in the playoffs because they are too short-handed anyway. What team is going to get the 8th now, Pelicans?

Probably the Pelies. I wouldn't count the Thunder out though. IF they can beat the Blazers (and really, what else do they have to play for??) they probably get the 8th seed since the Pelies still have to play the Spurs. Thunder end the year @ Timberwolves. Pelies loss tonight to the Rockets was huge for the Thunder.

Yep, and they already own the head-to-head tiebreaker. The Pelicans play Minnesota and OKC plays Portland - a win and a Thunder loss would officially clinch the Pelicans' first playoff berth since the Chris Paul era.

IDK....hard to win when he's putting up 27 points....from 30 shots.

This is true but they had a better chance to win 1 game with him.

Well looks like the Thunder aren't done yet, the NBA rescinds Westbrook's technical foul and he will play tonight. I didn't see the call, so is this justified or the NBA just sucking up to one of the league's elite players? (and a Warriors/Thunder matchup would draw better ratings than Warriors/Pelicans) This isn't the first time this season the NBA has rescinded a would-be 16th technical foul on Westbrook.
