If the Rockets can split their next 2 games with Spurs, i can see them getting the 2nd seed. I think Memphis very likely will drop to 6th with tough schedule. Clippers will move to 3rd seed with easy games remaining. Blazers will remain in 4th since they're division winner. Spurs move up to 5th.

The spurs getting the 5th seed would be a disaster because that would mean they play Golden State in round 2 instead of the Western Conference Finals.
Spurs win the next 2 with Houston and they win the division and get the 3 seed. I don't see them catching the clippers just because they have an easier schedule.
That said, Spurs look very good right now. IF they make the finals and its a wrap, no east team is winning the title this year.

Yup their own obstacle this season once the playoffs start is........."Golden State"
Five titles yet no back-to-backs... can the Spurs finally win two consecutive Larry O'Brien trophies?
(Still, GO MAVS!)
Edit: The Pelicans just now squeaked by the Warriors, so once the SA/OKC game goes final, the Pelicans will be the 8th seed for now... NO: 42-35, OKC: 42-36

Really? When TNT showed highlights of that game earlier looked like the warriors were in full control of the game.
New Orleans outscored the Warriors 36-23 in the third then held on from there.
OKC doesn't need to reach the playoffs anyway since they are short-handed due to injuries.
