Another thing is that I think the Heat really need to make some moves if they want to keep winning championships. They have a very old roster with major deficiencies at point guard and center. They don't have any promising young players, they don't have any draft picks, and they don't have any cap space. So unless they're willing to trade one of the big 3, they don't really have any way to improve their team short of convincing veterans to play for the league minimum.

ideal play would be trading bosh for howard to the lakers. howard fits the needs of miami, he would likely be more happy there then in la. bosh fits dantonis style much better then howard also.

They were in the same situation last year oh and the year before that. In Riley Miami Trust. As for PG Chalmers is a fairly decent PG and Cole is good for a 2nd year player and when you have LBJ you really don't even need a PG in the 4th qtr.

He basically is only effective scoring two ways- high post isolation drives, and spot up jumpers, and his spot up jumper is very streaky.
The streakiness of his jumpshot isn't helped by him being relegated to a third option, whose scoring opportunities are largely based on leftovers from Lebron and Wade. Hard to develop any rhythm that way. I think he's a better jump shooter and overall a better player than he displayed in the playoffs, but as you allude to he's a finesse player and has been playing out of position. That should be perfectly evident playing against Hibbert in the ECF and Duncan in the finals, and even as far back as Noah in the semis. He's quite averse to physical play.

Ouch. That would be a big win for Miami and especially Howard.

However, you might have to put Bosh on suicide alert as he heads from the NBA champ to a non-playoff team.

I agree with that. On other teams where he had the offense flow through him more he would be more effective. He's being forced to play a semi-garbage man role in Miami, which is not his strong suite.

I think Howard would slow down the heats offense-

Also, how could they pay for him with no more cap room?

I don't see Wade being healthy for a full season and playoffs...just the style he plays and being older now..Spo might consider using the Popovich "days off" treatment for him next season...not play him on a b2b, etc.

There was a rumor proposal the other day about a 3 way trade of Bosh to Lakers, Howard to Clippers, and Griffin to Heat....lol

He'd have to take a deal similar to Bosh, hence why he mentioned a TRADE.

That's just what Miami needs, 5 more rings in a row.
