I'm assuming he meant as an athlete, not as a player.
Wilt was a superb athlete. Before he decided to devote all of his talents to basketball he was an excellent track and field athlete - running several distances, high jump, long jump, shot put, etc. I'm an old guy and I can remember people saying that he could be an Olympics decathlete contender.
I'll toss in another name that could've been a pro in more sports than just the NBA. Steve Nash would've been a pro soccer player like his younger brother.

As strong as LeBron is, Wilt was much stronger.
I got a chance to see him up close back in the late 1960's, oddly it was at a tennis tournament at the Spectrum in Philadelphia.
