Luftwaffe Dornier 17 at Goodwin Sands 'still intact'



The discovery of a unique German warplane off the Kent coast left experts "incredulous". New images suggest the Dornier 17 is still intact and there are hopes that it will go on show.

The SU-27 and family are my favorite planes' in the entire world. I like the way it looks.

I think they are sharp looking and capable aircraft.....the SU 30 and SU 35 are my favorites.

I guess im partial about the 80's as the F-14 Tomcat is my alltime fave fighter jet and glad that it was featured in the 80's movies Top Gun and The Final Countdown.

I prefer the Rafale to the Typhoon too(I posted it earlier)......I think most Eurofighters share common design elements and parts as well.

The 747. Some models had an upper level with piano bar and amenities. But it's main impact is it made air travel affordable. "Jet set" once referred to those few who could afford to fly. Sadly, you don't see too many 747's these days.
