Actually, I thought of something even dumber.

How about the folks who festoon their cars with large graphics or personalized plates that say, basically, the make of the car or truck?

Seeing "DODGE" in 6" tall letters across th back of a Durango is, sorry to say, dishwater dumb. Getting a license plate made that says "AUDI" for a car with coffee rings and Audi logos already all over the car is dumb. Now getting "RAUDI" or "NAUDI" is clever but seriously, if we don't already know what it is, we likely don't car. And if we can't figure it out, like the other day when I saw a Genesis wearing an Aston body kit, I'll tailgate you until I figure it out.

It is a matter of personal choice. I know that a lot of skill is needed to paint a typical low rider with its elaborate scheme and to install a functioning hydraulic system. Many of the low riders are vintage Chevrolet models from the 60's and 70's. I would rather see them restored to original factory condition, but that is my preference.

The dumbest thing I've ever seen? No.
By far, that title would go to these narrow minded, arrogant, judgemental threads.
Just keep driving your tan Camry and mind your own business.

Just as dumb as the people that ride Harley Davidsons that are so loud that they can't hear themselves thinking

no the stupist thing are those pokes/elbows that black people put on their car that stick out like chariot wheels or something. I even saw them on a new Camaro drive by guess who. and they wonder why they get profiled.

Ok, I have another dumb thing.

Where I live, it's hickabilly (albeit a genteel hickabilly) central, and every man drives a pickup truck.....because, as they will tell you, they don't feel safe in small cars. And now the new favorite ride are those little side by side 4 wheeler ATV's, some of them have even managed to plate them for road use. So a guy who only feels safe in a big ol honkin truck drives around in what is little more than a 4x4 golf cart. You can't make this stuff up!
