Save your money. Flush the system, and refill it using distilled water.

i havent had any experience with that treatment, but i have used others over the years. they do some good, and amsoil does sell pretty good products. i doubt that it will do everything they claim, but if your system is on the edge, and you are trying to get through the summer, it wont do any harm to your engine. if on the other hand your system is is poor shape, the rebuild it first, you might find that you dont have any issues after that.

John, RMI25 is a detergent, nothing more. It does not use silicates like most flushes do so it's not grinding away at the internals of the cooling system. You need to install it in the vehicle and then drain, flush, and refill with coolant. Use it for about 1000 miles. If you have a Degas bottle that you can see inside of, it will probably turn it to a rusty color. It's important that when it gets like this that you drain it. Maybe even use a second dose after flushing. The idea is that it will cause a lot of crud to turn loose and the coolant is now attempting to hold this crap in suspension. Unless you have a coolant filtration system, getting the crud out, flushing, and refilling is extremely important. It does work but only as a cleaner. If you have other expectations, you'll be disappointed.
I'll also caution you against using a product known as Water Wetter. It CANNOT removed from the system and commonly causes electrolysis. The ONLY fix is to replace the entire cooling system and acid washing the block or selling the vehicle to the next fool. If you are having overheating conditions, fix it right as the cures in a bottle just don't exist.

Okay thanks. I was just trying to prevent stripped threads in the block where the head bolts go. Universal problem with the Toyota 2AZFE engine.

"I've never replaced mine, but I suppose it wouldn't hurt. Its cheap. Add the cap too. I have a secret weapon used on all my cars. 1/2 qt of RMI-25 towards the end of a coolant interval. But thats another discussion."
