If I go for a new vehicle in the near future, it would be most convenient to purchase it in NJ. However I would like to have a Florida registration (we are "officially" Florida residents) and insure it with my GEICO Florida policy (our 2010 GMC Terrain has Florida plates). I know it can be done, but I am fuzzy on the logistics of doing so.
Is there anyone who could fill me in on the issues and/or added expense that might be involved?
