New buyer will be driving the car back to Ohio from Tx. with current registration and title...but no plates. Will he be legal? Anyway to get him temp. plates for the drive back? I would contact the TX DMV and check with them since the transaction is being done in TX. Again, I may be wrong.

Yeah...thought I'd put a call into them this AM. But I dread the "wait time" for any DMV call!

May have over looked it, but checked with them last night. Didn't address that particular problem. It mainly covers car sold in state, assuming the new buyer will go directly to DMV to register the car.

No...haven't gotten my hands on it "YET". It was supposed to have been built last week...Dealer tells me the ship date was moved up one week...so should be in the dealership sometime early July.(Unfortunately, unlike BMW, one can not personally track it from start to finish with Audi) Gonna be one sweet roadtrip home tho, when it finally does come in!

Thank you! I had not seen that! Have to read up on it and see if it is legal crossing state lines. If it isn't, it doesn't do him any good. I did already download the second form...We use that one quite often!
