The bottom line is Biffle was leading the race and would have been the winner if it had ended at the advertised distance. They may as well add ± 5 laps to the advertised distance.

"The Daytona 500 ±(give or take) 5 laps"

It was actually not a half-bad race. The finish was great. The three-strike GWC finish was a good idea. I wish the COT sounded like the cars in 1998 or even today's Nationwide series.

That pothole problem was unacceptable.
