So he was a boxing announcer. I thought he was probably a pro wrestling announcer. He really mangled the names, despite having flash cards with yellow highlighter on them.
I know there is another thread on F1 races moving to ESPN, but that is my worry there - lots of flash and shouting to attract younger crowds, emphasis on wrecks and damage, playing up personality clashes (worse than they already do). Doubt that will work, but it will certainly drive away people like me.

I think the F1 powers should take a good look at NASCAR, they started putting the glitz & hoopla ahead of the racing and long term it appears to be dragging them down.
I loved the Michael Buffer thing... it should be kept only for the US GP... go full cheesy for 'Murica! Loved it... crowd at the track seemed to love it too.
Great races the last two, Austin and Mexico. Kinda of a shame a turn 1 touch took away a proper Ferrari vs Red Bull battle for the lead, but oh well, seeing Vettel and Hamilton cut through the field was fun too.
Lewis cements his legacy as one of the all time greats. 4 titles now. I feel this one is his best yet. He has been flawless since the summer break.

The cheese may attract those always on the lookout for something new and shiny and keep them around a few years, sooner or later they'll find something newer and shinier and drop F1 like a hot potato. If you've alienated your base race fans in the meant time, welcome to poor attendance.
