I think we can all agree the current system of 'chase', GWC, 'Lucky dog', is a fraud only there to get media coverage and possibly generate dollars but it ain't changing back. Not as long as the current owner/leader is there - sadly.

So true; I got sucked up onto this soapbox kinda quickly, it's been over for me, I can't even watch them any more except for a few laps. The boss and WWE boss could easily be interchangeable, pitiful and $$ hungry. shoulda never tried to get as big as they did...

I watched the NBC Daytona race coverage.......

Eight laps in, and they run 5 straight commercials, 8 more laps and they run 7 straight commercials. Even when they had " the actual race on the screen ", they also had a third of it as a split screen advertisement . What a joke.

I switched to a CBC historical drama, about the founding of our country..... At least that ran for 3 hours with only 2 two minute ad breaks per half hour.

NASCAR is dead as far as I am concerned, due to the stupid amount of commercials. I WAS a fan for over 40 years, but not any more.

DVR is the only way to watch.

Record about an hour then start watching, skipping every commercial.

NBC=Nothing But Commercials

Yes lousy coverage.

BTW how did the Hendrick teams do?
How did the Penske teams do?
How did the Roush teams do?

And shame on Kyle Petty and Dale Jarrett for fawning all over the Roush/Yates engine shop.

I wonder if the Stewart/Haas teams fans are still pissed about them going to Ford next season.

Wow that was awful. I couldn't believe the number of commercials. I gave up and watched the Tour de France, and switched back to see who won. Not surprising no one could get near the leader, as usual on a plate track. Nascar is really in trouble with this coverage and bad races. It's an all time low. Again, wow what bad coverage. NBC is bad. Letarte and Burton are waaay outside their comfort zones doing live TV.

You die hards are still funny. Outnumber the field with twice as many entries and when you still don't win you cry about about the other guys.

You were outnumbered at LeMans and got your ass kicked by the bigger and better team, that's how it supposed to work. Too bad it didn't work yesterday for you die hards.
