well, better chances than fat and slim but the chances of JJ running out of fuel on the last lap is worse that fat and slim. They wont take those kind of chances.
The Lowes team is simply too good to finish that far behind without some type of mechanical problem or a wreck... I have to believe the mechanics will be double and triple checked so the only hope that Kenseth or Harvick is Jimmy wrecking..
that certainly could happen and in fact did happen to jimmy last year as he was in 2nd place trying to catch Keselowski in the points race at Homestead...
Yep;that was what kept him from being six time last year.Johson is a great driver and team member that gives and gets the most from his team. Now it much easier since this race and the lead he has ;of course.

hey, lets have some optimism here, dont forget that harvick is still in th ehurt as well. all he needs to do is win the race while leading the most laps, have kenseth finish 4th or worse, and have JJ finish like 34th or worse. i think it can happen(not)
So are we ready to crown JJ as the best driver ever? Or after he wins this 8th championship the year after next?
well considering he has only 66 wins, very few records, but 5 championships, i say when he gets a few more records, 135 more wins and two more championships, then we can call him the greatest ever stock car driver, until then richard petty is still the kind and dale earnhardt sr is still the crowned prince.
