I certainly was NOT disappointed to see Carl win. He seems to be a genuinely good guy and NASCAR needs more like him. I was disappointed in the racing though. There was NOT much. It was almost impossible to pass within the top 10. The leader could not be passed on the track, the only passes I can remember happened in the PITs.

Agreed. They need to at least use the spoiler for Daytona at all tracks.

IMO that's a pretty good idea.

Glad to see Edwards win.

I don't think it helps racing if JJ had won the first 2 races.

I was hoping Kyle Bush had been able to make it til the end.
His team mate Hamlin sure made up a lot of ground yesterday.

Literally, it looked like he passed half the field when he dropped on the apron.

I've had mixed feelings about Edwards since he gave Kenseth that faux punch on Live TV. Dude looked like the biggest jerk bully in the world. His 'nah, it's okay it's a joke' was weak. He had some serious anger in his eyes. That said, he's good on TV and does a good job explaining cup racing.

Kudos to Hamlin for making that last lap exciting.. even though it was not for the win.. it was fun to watch that battle to the line.

I think he's a good guy, he's not the only driver to get mad at another driver.
