Yep... kind of surprised he didn't have anything for the leaders at the end today. He dropped one position to 3rd in the standings (by 2 points). Oh well.

Onto the Lady in Black for some Saturday night racing next week!

Never heard an interview from him after the race.. was wondering what the deal was.. he seemed to hang out around the back and if not for the last 2 wrecks he missed he likely would have finished ~20th. I thought he might be having cooling issues.. ?!?!

The points show that he is currently the best and they show that Jeff Gordon is currently worse. However, that's a bit misleading considering the fact that Gordon has been in several wrecks, not of his doing and had several engines go away on him. The same can be said for Kasey Kahne. So Jr is the top ranked currently, but not the best. Near the end of the season, it's unlikely that he'll be top ranked.

I think Jimmy has to still be considered the best, not just among Hendrick but Nascar in general. Gordon and Kane have had the worst luck in the world but Kane does seem to be coming out the other side the past few weeks. Gordon not so lucky.. he can't catch a break. Him and Jr were running back of the pack on Sunday during one of the wrecks.. almost side by side.. Jr slowed WAY Down and Jeff seemed to simply cruise through passing ahead of Jr.. Truex clipped Gordon while Jr continued to hang back.. that's just bad luck.. but if Jeff had slowed down like Jr did he would have missed it... ?@@#4

Would really enjoy Hendrick not getting his 200th at all this season , though highly unlikely.

I can top that, I hope number 200 never comes.

I'd enjoy seeing Shrub lose his ride (which was more probable a few months ago from what I hear, than Hendrick not getting 200 this year).

Hendrick will get his win very shortly, it's bound to happen. Hate to see Kyle lose his ride...don't think he will as long as he remains humble and doesn't tick off Joe.

One only has to look at past season and include this season to see JR has never some close to Gordon and certainly not Johnson. He is at the age that if he is goign to be a great he needs to start doing more than just lead at being of season with placements. I ahte to say it because i like him but he lacks what is opften called fire in the belly and would nt be at the level he is based on past performance only.
