Jeff Gordon stop the crying, did you really think Bayne was going to go with you when Kenseth needed a drafting partner? Bayne is a Roush driver not a Hendrick driver.
I don't see JG crying, just Bayne lying.

Gordon:
"So I didn’t expect him to commit to me on the radio. I expected him to say, ‘Man, I’m sorry; I can’t.’ And when he said, ‘Yeah, I’m pushing you; we’re good’; I believed him. But I think they had a different plan.”

Bayne:
“I'm not happy about what this has become... It's too premeditated. We should be able to go with whoever is around (us). “I would have rather pulled over and finished last than tell (Jeff Gordon) I would work with him and then be strong-armed into bailing.’’

That strategy worked out pretty good for Bayne and Roush didn't it? Didn't even crack the top 10.

He went from a likely top 5 or even a possible 1st or 2nd, to 15th. Not to mention the $81k vs &261k. If you noticed, it's every man for himself on the last lap. Maybe his mission wasn't so much to help Kenseth as it was to keep JG from winning.

Real smooth move.

Smart move, Bayne has a place at Roush right now not at Hendrick.

I like Gordon but he is out of the running right now and all your cheerleeding is not going to make him the champion this year.

Jack Roush is trying to win a Championship for Ford and Just like Hendrick he will do what it takes to win.

I am glad Childress got the 100th aniversary win for Chevy rather than Hendrick.

Why are we even arguing about this crap, NASCAR has forced this upon the teams and it has made Daytona and Talledega the worst races of the season.

Sounds like I got a better deal watching the Rangers

On Bayne's comments after the race, this guy put it well:

  1. Bill B Says:
"It’s one thing to follow your boss’ orders. You have to do that.
It’s another thing to squelch your own opinion after the fact.
Maybe this will hurt him in the long run with dictator Roush but at least he will be able to look at himself in the mirror."

This just a case of someone who didn't know any better (Bayne)
And a guy who should have known better (Gordon)

Does anyone not remember how Bayne was left out to dry in the last TD race?

Too much whining about this from people who don't have any vested interest.

Yes Roush is a dictator to his drivers but Hendrick is the dictator to Brian France

Just thinking... What if they adjusted the design of the superspeedway cars to have offsetting bumpers once again (i.e.- the front bumper is lower than the rear bumper)? This way the cars will still have the same structure to take the impact of a front end collision, but it would not be conducive for "push" racing.
