As long as NASCAR insists on restrictor plates this is what your going to get. Either tandem racing or pack racing.

And yet, a part-time single car team won. This was one of the most exciting 500s i've seen in years.

Those of you who prefer restrictor plate racing are getting what you like. Instead of one 800 HP car running up front now you need two 400hp cars lined up to run up front.

It's no wonder the stands are not full the real fans are staying home.

Looks like I'll wait for Darlington to attend my first race this season.
Kind of scary...reminds me of the reproductive act.

It was one of the more exciting races I have seen ina while. Hated the amount of bitching the drivers did afterwards,
I guess they prefer nascrap and hate change.

The sport has been doing awesome the last few years....not.

Personally, I like short track beat em up racing. Just like small town Saturday night shows. For those of you that wanted, fair, equal racing, there's no Nascar racing that's anymore equal than Super speedway racing. Countless hours and millions of $ go into very, very small advantages. These cars are built for SW racing only and sit in the shops the rest of the season. Again, as stated before, the form of racing right now is purely a product of aerodynamics. Super Speedway racing is actually a 200 mph chess game and takes quit a bit of strategy. It doesn't always work out, and it is the only style of racing right now that gives all 43 teams a chance to win. The super teams don't have much of an advantage at these tracks. Until Nascar make another rule change with plates or aero, this is what your gonna get.

Still have trouble getting behind this kind of racing. Just so weird. Not at all like the typical racing I am use to. Only time it even gets exciting seems like the last few laps. Maybe it's just me?

I still don't like Ark racing... (they are lined up 2 by 2.)

However, the last 10 laps of the race today were pretty cool and the ending was pretty exciting.
