IKEA HAS ANNOUNCED IT'S INTENTION TO TAKE OVER VW and SELL CARS. IT LOOKS LIKE THEY ARE TAKING COST CUTTING TO NEW LEVELS, AND WILL BE APPLYING SOME OF THE SAME TECHNIQUES THAT THEY USE TO MARKET THEIR FURNITURE. In that case, WE WILL BE IN DEEP DOODY...

ALL THEY GIVE YOU IS THIS ...

lol, lol Great Pictures! I'd better make sure that I get that package years before I need the car, if I ever can put it together.

Oh, now, let's be fair, they DO give you a sheet with a picture diagram of how to put it together!

Yep. As much difficulties as I had interpreting the diagrams, I still keep going back. Who knows maybe one of those days, that car package looks really attractive.

I like the concept of Ikea, except their quality really stinks. So this VW might run fine at 30mph and suddenly develop the shakes at 40mph and completely fall apart at 60mph...

Just don't sit on it, or get it wet.
See, the whole point of IKEA is to sell quasi-expendable furniture. If you don't plan on keeping it more than 3 years, you're okay. Great for bachelors, kids, realllly elderly parents, etc. (sorry). They dig the hipness. I'm not ashamed to admit I bought a $30 desk there just yesterday.

Yeah, I buy the $30 furnitures for my pre-teen/teens and hope these things stay good enough for them to take to colleges. So far they have lasted more than I expected.
