As announced earlier, same lineups both weekends. Also, no more single day tickets - $225 for three days is the only option.

I was up refreshing the page until 12:01. Was freaking out over the lineup for about an hour lol. They had me at Phoenix.

Lionel Richie? Is that alternative now and no longer easy listening?

Great lineup, but the lack of single day tickets bums me out. I'd like to go, but I don't want to go for three days straight. Since they added a weekend, you'd think they could make one of those days open to single day folks.

Wow. They went for the Generation X'ers this year. The headliners are tailored for the 32-45 year old age bracket.

The Verve Pipe? -- "We were merely freshmen" Queens of the Stone Age, Jimmy Eat World, Franz Ferdinand.

They didn't add a headliner for the Baby Boomer crowd this year. I think the average age at ACL just dropped about 20 years with this lineup (ie. No Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Willie, etc.) I don't think Lionel Richie fills that void as he wasn't a rock n' roll guy. I imagine there are going to be alot of people over the age of 50 that will be very disappointed with this lineup.

I'm impressed ACL. You finally made a change even if Muse is playing for the 5th time (guessing) (they're good, so it's cool, but they're always here).

The Verve Pipe has come a few times recently to play the Kiddie tent. I bet that's what they're doing this year as well.

Lots of these bands have been in Austin recently including Depeche Mode at SXSW, Phoenix and Walk the Moon just a few nights ago if you were lucky to get tickets to any of those shows.

I don't always get the repeats. Like the diversity. The aftershow schedule between the two weekends should also produce. Could be a loooong ten day, ACL bender. Buckle your chinstraps.

Time to unearth that DM-101 doc. 25 yrs ago? How old are you??

We should get a great selection of after shows this year with all these bands in the area between the two weekends. If some of the bands I want to see do after shows, I'll probably sell all my ACL tickets and just go to those.

That makes sense. I lost track of the Verve Pipe at about the same time that Ross and Rachel were on a break.

And I agree, I think a lot of the locals that don't want to deal with the crowds all weekend will focus their efforts on the aftershows (middle of the week shows) this year.
