I don't think I'd say that. I am sure there are some that do, but many others take advantage of it.

Ive never been but I think it is awesome
I also like the increase in traffic congestion because it is a sign that austin is thriving.

No, I definitely like SXSW. It's great for Austin's culture and economy. I just really dislike hipsters, and SXSW seems to bring lots of them to Austin.

While I don't participate in it (don't do crowds really well which is why I don't attend a lot of the Austin traditions that I used to be religious about going to), I think SXSW is awesome.

I guess they would have been "mod" or "beatniks" in the 60's. They rock the skinny jeans, 80's shades, and vintage tees with the token fedora/derby hat time on occasion.
