I'm not getting the undivided highway dread. Maybe I've just been driving in Texas too long? (Oh, lord, 46 years now that I've been driving in Texas - that's scary!)

and to everyone that chimed in...This gives me some good info with which to make an informed decision...

I think I will be doing this route above, unless I have to make an on the spot correction at the time I am coming through Houston...

I may try to leave Baton Rouge early enough to beat the rush hour traffic, but since I am not traveling alone there will be other factors to consider...Kids, dog, me pulling my hair out!! LOL...

I am sooo ready to be there!!
