I have a 3 day class I have to attend and will be driving to Barton Springs at Mopac (have to be there from 8:00-5:00). I live in Cedar Park ~ 1 mile west of 620 off of Anderson Mill. I work at 2222 & 360 so I normally don't drive on 183 or Mopac. I know 2222 & 360 can be backed up so I'm not sure if that's going to be the best option.

My question is.... which route would be best? 183 to Mopac or 2222 to 360 to Mopac? How long should my commute be? Trying to figure out what time I should leave in the morning.

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!

I drive 183 each morning and the back-up starts at McNeil.....I get off at Oak Knoll, so I can't answer as to where it ends. On the radio they always call that stretch "the march to Mopac"

I leave home at 7:30 (off Cypress Creek) and arrive at work at 7:50 or 7:55 (off Oak Knoll exit). I'd say 10 of those minutes are spent moving very slowly, but never a complete stand still. I've been doing this commute for 3 months and knock on wood, I've never come across a wreck or anything that made me late. There was once a wreck at Mopac, and that made the back-up at McNeil even worse.

Hope this answered your question a little bit!
