That's the headline in the Business Journal...mentions some other acquisitions as well.

Anybody got a "free" copy of the article ???

K&N sells Rudy's, Mighty Fine

3:01 pm CST | Mergers and acquisitions were down across the board at the start of the pandemic. But dealmaking returned in force in the latter part of 2020, including with recent sales of well-known restaurant chains.

Don't know where you're coming from but the Rudy's I usually go to is off the Southbound Access Rd for U.S. 183 between Duval and Balcones, so going south, you get off at Duval, cross over it, and it will be on the right hand side with an expensive little shell fuel island.

Very different operations; but Smokey has some good items. Rudy's is huge compared to Smokey Moe's.
Neither does pulled pork justice, however. Ribs are good at both(usually).

Kind of worries me, because I love both those chains and they have a reputation for impeccable quality. I’m afraid they can only get worse after under a new owner.

Hold up, there's a Stiles Switch in Cedar Park now? This is a game changer.

Yeah, they just finished it about a month ago I think. I passed by it on Whitestone near Bagdad and was shocked to see it there too.

I sure hope Rudy's doesn't change. Rudy's basically redefined what BBQ is supposed to taste like when I moved here and tasted it for myself.
