Yes, I am happy about this, although we will have to wait a year. With the Whole Foods in SW Austin opening very shortly, we are getting some good alternatives around.

Really? I didn't see a target opening date on the Statesman article...that seems like a long time.

Agree about the good alternatives....added competition can only be good for the consumer. With the Trader Joe's going in too, we'll have Whole Foods, TJ's, H-E-B, Sprouts, Central Market, Target and Wheatsville to choose from all in the 04 or close by

According to their website, they will open the South Lamar location in Spring 2013. I love Wheatsville. It's definitely my grocery store of choice in Austin, but it's a bit a hike from SW Austin. I'm thrilled to be getting one closer.
