Wait wait wait... Is Falfurrias now a hispanic brand? Should I cease and desist in buying it? Have I overlooked that I'm required to buy Kerrygold due to my Irish ancestry??

No, it's not, but the brand was purchased by Keller's Creamery and it's no longer produced at the Lasater Ranch. Keller's Creamery - Our Brands

No, but I think you'll be happy when Trader Joe's opens and you can buy it cheaper.

I thought Fiesta was headquartered in Houston.

If you were in an HEB, turn it over. The other side is in English.

.
I didn't dig deep enough in the site to find the actual production location. Shame some traditions don't hold. Never heard of Keller's and who'da thunk they own BORDEN ?

Speaking of Keller brands, if you haven't tried Plugra...WOW, it's almost like cheese in its rich flavor! Fat and calories, here I come! Don't leave me with a hunk of that and some salty crackers!!! Yum-O!!!

I know the average shopper can save a few cents but you are losing customers that buy higher margin items. I cannot mention the grocery group as they have a way of making these postings disappear. Is it Fresh Plus by any chance?

I'd talk to someone in the dairy section about it. Probably just overlooked or something, since it's a pretty popular brand(I'd imagine).

They stopped stocking my brand of eggs for Easter, probably to make room for the regular old eggs, but once it was over they started carrying it again. Might be something like that.. Some sort of future store promotion/display or what not.

Oh, good grief. Fresh Plus is three stores in Austin.

It seems to me the OP is talking about a supermarket chain, based in San Antonio, that aggressively markets private label foods*, which sounds like only one store I know of...... HEB!

The irony being, that shoppers at other HEB stores are now advising the OP to go to HEB to find LOL butter. LOL indeed!

Well he said his neighborhood grocery. Sounded more like a small store.
