I can't run to save my life, but my daughter and I will be there with her girl scout troop handing out water and gatorade to the runners and cheering them on

Love Roses, thanks to you, your daughter, and her troop for volunteering. The people who are at the drink stations cheering the runners on, and spectators in general, are more help than you'll ever know.

That's the one we're supposed to help with, and/or join in on. It was on our calendar. If I'm gonna shoot for a 5k I should start training now
I can run alright for about 2 miles, but after that I have to slow down
I'm pretty sure I could manage the little family fun dash though
Is a 5k 3 or so miles and can you run/walk? I'm not familiar with the dos and don'ts.
