And good luck to you Woodinvilleguy. I'll be out there for the full marathon and am so very pleased that the weather looks a gazillion times better than last year. Don't forget, as you're climbing San Jacinto for the second time, that if it were easy everyone would be doing it.

I can't run to save my life, but my daughter and I will be there with her girl scout troop handing out water and gatorade to the runners and cheering them on

Love Roses, thanks to you, your daughter, and her troop for volunteering. The people who are at the drink stations cheering the runners on, and spectators in general, are more help than you'll ever know.

Glad to know we'll actually be helpful. Who knows, maybe I'll get inspired to try running again I'll start small though. There is a 1k fun run in Cedar Park next month

Thank you so much for the volunteering. which mile marker will your troop be at? The encouragement makes everything seem so much easier. This is my first full marathon, so I'll need as much encouragement on the route as possible.

The weather looks a lot better than last year. I love the rain but not on Sunday....please

Love Roses, you should try the "Thin Mint Sprint 5K" on March 24th at Cedar Park Center, my daughters girl scout troup is organizing it.

That's the one we're supposed to help with, and/or join in on. It was on our calendar. If I'm gonna shoot for a 5k I should start training now I can run alright for about 2 miles, but after that I have to slow down I'm pretty sure I could manage the little family fun dash though Is a 5k 3 or so miles and can you run/walk? I'm not familiar with the dos and don'ts.
