As stated in the title, I am 24, single and wanting to move to Atlanta which is only 4hrs away from Nashville. I plan on having a job lined up before I go and staying in an Extended Stay until I find an apartment. I do not know anyone there so I will be finding my way on my own. I only have a phonebill and carnote at this time. I am pretty much free to go anywhere. How much money do I need to start? Also any good advice will be appreciated. Thanks

Are you wanting to move inside the city? Or outside the perimeter somewhere?

Yeah, it really depends on where you are working because traffic can get pretty bad.

I'm from georgia (currently in birmingham) and almost crossed Atlanta on my list of places to look for a job when i drove through this past week. traffic is an absolute NIGHTMARE! you just sit in the same place on the interstate or crawl at a snails pace.

the reason i say this is to encourage you to live very close to wherever you work...otherwise you're looking at a 2 hr commute morning and night.

other than that atl is a great city for young singles!!! SO SO SO much to do!
