The way I see it, the more I list the smaller the wait will be for each. As it is, everyone in the world seems to believe the Flying Biscuit in Candler Park is the only source for food on weekend mornings. Now they know about several more options.

My favorite is Gato Bizco.

When do you think we'll start seeing Moe's and Flying Biscuit side by side at a local gas station like Pizza Hut and Taco Bell?

Definitely someday.

Raving Blands hasn't even opened any Flying Biscuits yet, have they? What are they waiting for?

I am glad Raving Brands went after Flying Biscuit and not someone like Ria's Bluebird or Crescent Moon. There is enough brand awareness in Flying Biscuit that whoever opens one up in North Fulton will make a killing.

JPD,

Good point. I really dread the long waits at Thumbs Up and Crescent Moon. Even the East Point location of Thumbs Up is starting to get too crowded. I never heard of Gato Bizco, I need to try it out. My personal favorite is Carroll Street Cafe in Cabbagetown.

Gato Bizco is right across the street from Flying Biscuit. It is small (six tables and a counter with a dozen, or so, seats). They usually have a wait on weekends, but not nearly as long of a wait as Flying Biscuit (especially if you're willing to sit at the counter).

Where is Crescent Moon? I know Northlake Mall has one. I think the one in Decatur closed a while back.

Sushi: MF Sushi Bar on Ponce close to downtown.

Has anyone been to Capital Grille, there is one opening soon near me in Jacksonville and I was wondering if it was good. Same with J. Alexander's and McCormick and Schmick's (if anyone has been to those as well).
I've been to the Capital Grille in Tampa, it was great. Definately try the lamb if you are a fan of it (around $35) but worth it).

JPD,

Crescent Moon is located on W Ponce in Decatur, across from the new Ted's Montana Grill.

I thought they had closed that one, guess I was mistaken.

I've been to the Northlake location. It's mediocre (which makes it fit in very well at Northlake Mall, where everything is mediocre). I've heard good things about the Decatur one, though.
