Shouldn't be a problem at the time the OP proposes the commute. It is at peak times, though.

Where in Buckhead? It covers a pretty big area, especially with less-than-scrupulous real estate agents. None of it is really convenient to Emory, but the areas around I-75 would be okay for Grady.

If I were under 40, and needed to be able to get to work at both Emory and Grady, I'd live in Virginia Highlands. If I had a lot of money, Druid Hills would be an option, and with children, Decatur would be worth a look.

If you are close to Lenox Rd. or Cheshire Bridge, it's not too bad to cut through via LaVista to Emory. I think that someone else mentioned this already. I used to drive 400 South (from Northridge) to Sidney Marcus and cut through that way. The whole drive took about 30 min. (leaving at 7:30 and arriving at 8:00). Clifton at 5:00 on the way home, though, was a nightmare.
