We just moved to East Cobb in August...we saw that there were 2 temples near by and thought that there would be at least a few jewish families near by...what a surprise...our neighborhood is about 50% jewish...the elementary school at least 30% jewish...we haven't lived in such a jewish area since we left long island 15 years ago . We feed into Mt Bethel/Dodgen/Walton...
The schools are good, the amentities and convenience are great...they are opening a goldbergs deli about a mile from us...definately a place to consider if you are looking for jewish families...you wont get a new house in a pool and tennis community....everything is built out here except for some small areas so be prepared to buy a 10 yr old house that needs work...but it is worth it for the comfort level in the community

You must live in Easthampton. I didn't realize the neighborhood was about 50% Jewish.

Easthampton is the only part of Mount Bethel that feeds into Dodgen.

Yes, East Cobb (especially the Walton Area) has a large Jewish population.

When I was 19, I worked at a Jewish camp in the Catskills...most of the kids were from the Long Island towns of Hewlett, Lawrence, Great Neck, Roslyn, Woodmere, Syosset, East Rockaway, etc.
