As posted in my previous thread, my husband and I are moving to Atlanta and we are seriously considering Stockbridge because its close to the airport for my job and it seems like a large city but easy to navigate. There were also several neighborhoods that look very nice and clean so we're looking for a house to rent in the area. Our budget is $1200 and under, preferably UNDER, lol, looking for a 3 bedroom/2 bathroom home with a fenced backyard that accepts small pets.

We have looked at a few houses, one in The Gardens of Eagles Landing, and a few in a subdivision called Wild Wind. Is anyone familiar with either of these two neighborhoods who could tell me a little about them?

We really liked the house we saw in the Gardens, but its already promised to someone else and unless it falls through, we probably won't get it. Then we looked at a few houses in Wild Wind and they are all so cute! Very small, probably no bigger than the duplex we used to live in but fenced yards, all the houses are clean and kept up, it looks like a neighborhood of small "starter" homes for people like us on a budget, which is what we are looking for. But we didn't see anyone out in their yards and weren't able to drive through it at night to make sure it is as safe as it looks, any tips? Also, a few streets back there was an elementary school which was cute but then the houses started to look very old, some run down, not very promising.

Also willing to entertain other suggestions on where to look in the area, thanks!

I have a 4 bdrm/3 bath home in StocKbridge for rent for 1350.00 per month. It's on over 2 acres in a quiet neighborhood with only 11 houses. Wooded with a fenced bacKyard and hottub.

Default Stockbridge Neighborhoods

The two neighborhoods you mentioned are both overpriced in my opinion, I love the look of the Gardens, but the rooms are extremely small. I have a house in Eagle Ridge, that is very nice and fairly priced.
