In the City of Minneapolis, the north side is the bad part of town. South Minneapolis is filled with Multi-million Dollar Homes (Lake of the Isles, Calhoun, Harriet) as well as Uptown (which is actually South of Downtown) where you can find lots of upscale shopping.
