How about best New Orleans style cooking! I'm already drooling from reading this thread, and I might as well make the rest of you drool, too! My husband and I found a really fantastic restauraunt that we didn't know about before, it's called Rotagilla (that's alligator spelled backwards, folks ) and it's in Tucker on Main Street. You just turn right off Lawrenceville Highway and it's at 2327 Main. I can tell you that they've got it right. The gumbo was spiced just the way it should be, and the consistency was right also - and the portions sure are meant to please! My husband had a shrimp po boy and sweet potato fries, and I had a pasta dish with crawfish and shrimp. It was really excellent. I even had a piece of warm chocolate doberge cake for dessert that was to DIE for. Oh, they also serve breakfast Monday through Saturday from 8-11 and a brunch on Sunday from 9-3. I'm not much on brunch myself, but I do love breakfast. Anyway, we miss New Orleans food and so we were very pleased to find Rotagilla. It hit that hungry spot, and oh....friendly. Very friendly owner and staff.

Happy eating!

For good NOLA cooking you have to come to my house...

Actually, I've been on the hunt for some Cajun or Creole (NOLA Creole) cooking for some time. I'll have to check this Rotagilla place out.

Oh, and we just went to Six Feet Under last night. Makes me want the springtime to hurry up and get here so we can sit on the rooftop deck and lookout over the cemetery....
