Since I'm on a diet, I'll reply to the salads category. Houston's -- by far -- has the best salads. (West Paces Ferry and Lenox). For the girls mainly -- the Swan Coach house. This old Atlanta favorite in the Atlanta Historical Center complex (just off West Paces Ferry) is a fantastic place for lunch. Everything is delicious.

I cannot think of any good food in the ATL. Actually there are not many airports outside of O'hare that do. Of course PHL does have a good King of Pizza

Default No Indian Food?

Nobody raved about Indian food. Are there any good Indian restaurants...esp. with good lunch buffets?

There are several great Indian restaurants along the Scott Boulevard/Lawrenceville Highway corridor, although I forget their names.

Yes, there are a lot there. I haven't been to any of them but I'd love a recommendation.

The one I've seen written up the most is Udipi Vegetarian Cuisine. It's located right along Lawrenceville Highway in Decatur where Highway 78 merges in (becomes Scott Blvd.). I've never been and don't know anything about lunch buffet, but it's supposed to be good.

Udipi! That's one of them! It's vegetarian and really good! I've been there twice--once for the lunch buffet and once for dinner. Very tasty indeed.

Well, there is Paschals, for the soul food/meat-and-two thing. And it works OK in an airport, since this is food that was always intended to be served from a steam table instead of being cooked to order.
