I can imagine the uproar from Ansley Park if plans for this started jelling.
We would have an "occupy that corner" event!

Looks like the Great Recession halted most of them. No reason for them not to go up once the economy fully recovers.

The only ones that I would see going up are the Mandarin Oriental (with a different hotel operator), and 50 Allen Plaza.

Sort of my thoughts too. I think when 2014 is coming to an end we could have a couple supertalls on the horizon, or otherwise high aiming projects. I do think most of these specific ones are dead but the same developers could start announcing slightly subdued projects.

A lot of these were, in my opinion, pipe dreams even before the recession. I bet we'll hear from Trump at some point and 285 Marietta could get going. Downtown is about to shine either way. Mmpt will be huge and I'm sure it will attract plenty of attention, maybe even bring our center of gravity back south.

Cheers to the next round of big projects!

50 Allen Plaza would be a great addition.

that 14th street building would've been a monstrosity. it looks diseased. i'm glad that style appears to have faded away quickly.

You mean Metropolitan Center? I hope they still build this and Trump Towers someday!
