old briarcliff road is a rarely known road in the atlanta area, but it's always a beautiful drive through the forest and over a creek that makes it seem like you're miles away from civilization, in the mountains. however, last week i drove through here and it seems they've taken down a few trees approaching the road on the west side. i really hope they aren't going to f-up one of the prettiest areas in atlanta. it really should be a protected zone. the bridge is 100 years old or more.

Id be surprised if anything is going on but some cleanup activity. Emory owns most of the adjacent land (the soccer field is located there) and they're pretty serious about preserving their greenspace. Besides, the deep ravine on the other side of the road renders that side of the road unbuildable.
