Suwanee/Duluth for a Single guy? (Atlanta: live in, fence, moving to)

How would the Suwanee/Duluth area be for a single guy? I am going to be moving to that area very soon and have some concern about the area. I will be starting a new job so I guess I could maybe meet people like that, but are there other ways to meet people and date in this area?

It seems like the area is very family-oriented and residential.

I would not know anybody. Is it possible to meet new friends and/or possible to date or find a single women in this area? Are people friendly/open to meeting new people?

Or is this area strictly just married people with kids and not many single people.

Although Suwanee and Duluth are family oriented, you should be just fine with meeting women. Georgia period has a lot of single women ,due to the decline or drought should I say in men. Suburbs is what that area is considered a lot of diversity. Hope that isn't a issue and I always tell people go online because believe it or not people act totally different in person as opposed to online. Sounds weird but the internet is the the new hype so try c/l. Good luck . Also I don't know if your into clubs, but Barnacles is a sports bar and a frequent for most Gwinnett residents try that.

It depends on what you like to do socially? If you are into the music sceen, dancing and hanging out at bars, then Suwanne/Duluth is probably too suburban.

There are lots of single people in the suburbs. Other options for meeting people include:

1) meetup.com
2) church groups
3) sports

This sounds a little more promising. I know it all just depends on a lot of things, but I was a little discourage to find that this area seems to be very family-oriented. There still has to be some decent singles in the area though, I hope so.

Honestly, I will try just about anything. I know about meetup.com. I will try that I suppose. I don't really care about the bar scene, but if that is where I have to go to meet people then I will. I could try church as well. In my experience though, bars are not the best places to meet and befriend people, but I guess it could happen.

Why do you ask this? I am aware or have at least heard about the Boom in the asian population in this area. Are you saying that the only women there are asian/mexican? or a good majority?

Am I into those races of women? Maybe if they are attractive to me. Just depends.

Honestly I would not live in that area unless I was ready for the white picket fence type of family life. But, everyone is different.
