Wouldn't that just be Hells Kitchen?

Besides, I'm talking about Times Square itself, not anything nearby. Times Squares as it exists is not a residential neighborhood, and even if it were it wouldn't matter because "real New Yorkers" hate Times Square with a passion after it was sterilized for the sake of tourists. If you lived there you should know that.

If your idea of the real Times Square is just Broadway crossing 7th Ave between the two jumbotrons on each end, there are still new residential highrises within that 500 feet of street that thousands of people live in.

As my original post stated there are dozens of brand new residential highrises within ONE BLOCK of Times Square/ Madam Tussauds/etc. where THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE live.

With my 10 years spent in the city I am an official New Yorker, and yes I hated Times Square, but it's one of the hottest neighborhoods to live in now that Gay New Yorkers have left Chelsea for Hells Kitchen.
