I would rank them
Cumming (Forsyth)
Peachtree City
Duluth
Dunwoody

But Depending on what else you do, All of them are good.

I live in Dunwoody and don't know anything about the other locations you mentioned. I would suggest the other locations. The county is currently redistricting the schools and we are hoping that they balance out the overcrowded schools. As of now my first grader starts school at 7:45 and eats lunch at 10:42 and school gets out at 2:20 - but really 2:30 is when the buses leave and carpool line starts. This is due to too many kids in the small school. They teach to test in her school and only get one 15 minute recess. There are 18 in her class which is great.

There are many chain restaurants in Dunwoody. If you like that you'll be fine. If you like more of the independent mom and pop restaurants there aren't many in Dunwoody. Dunwoody does not have its own recreation department for gymnastics, etc. Other neighboring cities do have those facilities. Most churches do offer soccer, etc. Dunwoody is in the planning stages of creating a "main street" area in the heart of Dunwoody. It will be a few years out, but hopefully that will offer a nice place to gather, get ice cream, eat, etc.

Good luck!

Duluth and Suwanee might work for you. Check into the Peachtree Ridge cluster in Gwinnett county for schools. Lots of activities for kids.
