Maestranza in Intramuros is also on the process of restoration

There are more buildings for restoration.

I've been there several years back. It's a bit of a rough area--definitely not overtaken by tourists and gentrification. The historic buildings could definitely do with a bit more care, but judging from the previous posts, it looks like that's happening. It's interesting for a bit, but it's also really really tiny.

That area was one of the most prestigious places during the Spanish occupation, it's sad that when the Spanish left, the area around it became so messy and dirty. Old Manila definitely looked better than modern Manila.

I Know Ilo Ilo has a lot of nice old heritage landmarks aside from Cebu. Hopefully, they'll try to rebuild those were affected during the war. Our Capitol Building in Pangasinan was totally bombed but was rebuild again to it's original formed. They'll try to revive those important heritage building hopefully it will push through.

What we mostly have in Iloilo are ancestral mansions

And this is the Mansion of the Lopezes/Lopez's of Abs-CBN and Meralco

^lol I guess no need to put the Dancing fountain in Intramuros because I didn't know they already put one in Manila Ocean Park, I guess this one works also for provincial park those outside Manila to make it more nicely like the one in Vigan. It is so attractive at night.

There's a lot of old cemetery in Ilo-Ilo and Churches. I saw some of Ilo-Ilo Plaza and it has traces of heritage like the statue maybe they can do something to make it more nicer those ancestral home look so nice, the evolution of bahay-na-bato from bahay kubo.

By the way, I saw this
