I just poured my glass of wine and am about ready to watch the horsess run. I would have started my weekend wine drinking a few hours ago, but I was taking the AARP driving class on line and was afraid someone would see me drinking.
I've tried two from Flying Dog Brewery recently. Dead Rise is a nice Summer Ale with a hint of Old Bay seasoning. I gotta try one with sea food. The other is Numero Uno, a cervez-type ale with agave nectar and lime zest. Both are very nice summer beers.
Ooo, Mensa! I used to belong. It was through Mensa I acquired a starting point for Scotch. (Uncle Al in Irvine.)
Accordingly, I'm sipping a glass of Islay Mist 8, a nice blended Scotch whisky that's very enjoyable while easy on the wallet. (I love a good single malt, but I also love buying camera gear. It's really one or the other. Excellent blends allow for both Scotch and camera gear. )
